Lesa Miller, JD, MBA, is a Broker and REALTOR® with Lesa Miller Real Estate at RE/MAX Acclaimed Properties. She has served Bloomington, Bedford, and south-central Indiana since 2001, with over 600 closed transactions. Before real estate, she practiced as an estate planning attorney.

Lesa specializes in the sales that come at life's turning points: probate and estate sales, divorce real estate, senior downsizing as a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®), and relocation, including moves for Indiana University, IU Health, and NSWC Crane as a Military Relocation Professional (MRP). Attorneys, personal representatives, and heirs regularly turn to her for estate settlements involving real estate.

She came back to Indiana to care for her aging parents. That is not a line on a resume. It means she has sat on the other side of the decisions her clients are facing, and she knows what the paperwork feels like when you are grieving at the same time.

Lesa studied at Indiana University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and German and graduating Phi Beta Kappa. She worked in telecommunications in the Chicago area, then earned an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law. The law degree is why she reads a title problem or a probate filing herself instead of waiting on someone else. The MBA and the mathematics are why she models what a seller will actually keep rather than quoting a list price and hoping.

In 2026 she published From Listed to Closed, a 215-page handbook for home sellers covering everything from pricing strategy to probate to downsizing.

Her work has been recognized with RE/MAX Platinum Level, the RE/MAX Hall of Fame award, and the Homesnap Excellence in Client Service award.

Lesa supports St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Pets Alive. She and her husband served as foster parents and adopted through the foster system. She likes to learn, read, ride 2- and 3-wheelers, and travel.
